Goddess Dressing & Woodstock Dressing

Alchemist in the Kitchen


I love Annie’s Goddess dressing—on salads, on grains, potatoes, sandwiches, crudites, anything. Modesty forbids that I drink it straight from the bottle, but that actually sounds okay. A Goddess dressing habit like mine costs a bit, so I found a way to make my own, and it’s pretty close. Bonus: it thickens like a mayonnaise when it’s refrigerated so it’s good for sandwiches or as a dip. Just thin it with a little water for a dressing.

Getting the ingredients together for both recipes:



1/2 cup tahini

1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

1/4 cup tamari

1 tbsp. lemon juice

1/4 tsp. garlic powder

1/2 cup water

1 tbsp. agave nectar

1/2 cup olive oil

~~~Blend till smooth. That’s all.
